1/ WAKE UP EARLY

If Sundays look tempting to stay a little bit longer in bed, try not creating a big wake-up gap between weekends and workweek. If you wake up at 6 AM during the workweek, try to wake up at least around 8 – 9 AM in the weekend. The earlier the better. It will make your Monday morning easier. Moreover, you will fall asleep sooner on Sunday night, which has also a positive effect on your Monday morning. Getting up early will give you more time to do things for yourself and to make yourself ready for the new work week without any time pressure instead of cutting your weekend short by sleeping in ’till noon and writing off your entire morning.

2/ SWEAT IT OUT

There’s nothing quite like a Sunday workout. There is not much to do on a Sunday, so why not going for a workout. You will probably have more time during the weekend to workout instead of during the workweek. Most gyms are open Sunday (check your gym’s opening hours). You’ll feel fresh, energized, and back on the healthy track in no time. You can also go for a run, a long walk with your family or a home workout. Just sweat it out.

3/ GET ORGANIZED

They say if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. The more organized you are, the better your workweek will be. Clean your house, plan your outfits, check your agenda for upcoming events and appointments, make a to-do list, check your work schedule, etc. Attempt to create some structure and organization on what it is that needs to be done, and how you’re going to do it. It may sound stressful, but it will just give you more peace during the week. What's more, tidying up and other decluttering work gives you a chance to clear your mind - which is welcome after a busy working week with lots of decisions to make.

4/ MEAL PREP
